Investigate the World of IDA Education

For the past two decades, the International Door Association has provided educational programs to its membership, and industry that are specifically tailored to the needs of those who proudly call themselves door dealers. The majority of these programs have been actual workshops and seminars presented during the International Garage Door Exposition, Educational Conferences, and Affiliate meetings.

In 2009, the IDA introduced this education website, and initiated action to populate the site with training and education products. The contents of the site offers helpful information for those who manage businesses, sell door and access systems products, and install and service those products. On behalf of the Technical and Education Committee, I invite you to utilize this information to enhance the level of professionalism you offer your customers.

In addition, please let IDA know what more we can do for you in the area of education and training. What topics do you need covered? What are your most significant training needs? Tell us, and we will respond by providing you with quality programs and services that you deserve and expect coming from the IDA.
