Proctored Electronic Testing...An IDA Service
If you have registered with the Institute of Door Dealer Education & Accreditation (IDEA), remitted your applicable fees, and received your Study Guide(s), you are eligible to take your accreditation and/or certification examinations via a proctored, electronic site near you.
The following will give you step-by-step instructions on how to register for testing:
- You must first submit an application with IDEA. [If you have completed your registration with IDEA, please proceed to the next step.] If you have yet to apply for certification or accreditation you will have to do so with IDEA before you proceed to testing. After you have completed your application, and paid for and received your study materials from IDEA, you are then eligible to apply for the online proctored testing.
- When you are ready to test, you can fill out and submit the proctored testing application with payment information.
- After this proctored testing application is received and processed you will then receive an email with instructions on how to book a testing time at a local proctored testing site.
- The email you receive will have a link to the Booking Page. After you click the Booking Page link the page will open and the page will ask you to type in your login credentials. These credentials are provided to you in the email. Enter your credentials and you will then be asked to choose an exam time and location that is convenient for you. Once you have selected your exam time and location you will then receive a confirmation email.
- On the day of testing, you will then take a copy of the confirmation email and photo ID to the testing site you've selected. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to testing.
- If you have submitted your proctored testing application with payment information but have not received the email with booking instructions please contact slong@longmgt.com.
